ZIPLINE DU THE WIRE
Well, this is one of those experiences which leaves you talking gibberish and your brain goes to buffering mode. This particular zipline is second longest single line in Croatia with 900 meters in length and it is located on the coast near the Jewel of the Adriatic sea, majestic one and only city of Dubrovnik.
Zipline adventure starts at the top of a small oak hill overlooking the island of Lokrum and Adriatic sea. Because of its breathtaking view and the fact that you are flying in a superman pose, it gives you an opportunity to fly and enjoy the natural surroundings. Flight starts over the oak trees and after a few seconds you gain higher altitude from the ground when suddenly hits you this intense adrenaline rush, since you are flying up to 100 km/h, which transcends to absolute calm feeling and awareness of the nature.
Great thing about this monster zipline is that you don’t need to have previous zipline experience.
At the meeting point, near old church at the location, Du the wire team will give you comprehensive lecture about the safety precautions and measures, zipline equipment and information about the flight. At the end of yours descend there is a modern and advanced passive breaking system which will stop you smoothly, after which one of the instructors will help you get out of the superman harness. Beside aerial sports, this activity is closest thing to flying.
